Welcome to the Korean Society of Geriatric Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (KSGAP).

As we face the challenges of a super-aged society, the role of geriatric anesthesia and pain medicine has never been more critical. Our society is dedicated to enhancing the quality of medical care for the elderly, ensuring their safety during surgery, and promoting their postoperative recovery and well-being.

In 2025, KSGAPM achieved significant milestones under the banner of "Global Exchange and Data-Driven Innovation." We strengthened our international partnership through deep exchanges with the Japanese Society of Geriatric Anesthesia (JSGA) and laid the foundation for future medical research by establishing a Clinical Data Model (CDM) workflow.

Moving forward, we are committed to fostering a smart and practical academic environment. We will continue to expand our global network, lead the digitalization of geriatric research, and provide substantial support to our members.
